While climate change is increasingly acknowledged as a threat multiplier, its full impact on the defense and security agenda remains largely uncharted. Consequently, critical gaps remain in how risks are addressed on the ground. PSI aims to promote knowledge exchange and actionable solutions in the climate security context. We set out best practices, strategic entry points, and new approaches to address climate risks across the spectrum. Our global scope spans from the climate-conflict-peace nexus and human security, to how rising temperatures affect operating conditions, materiel, and HADR missions, as well as the role of energy innovations for autonomous operations.
