This year the Planetary Security Initiative (PSI) will co-organise a workshop at the World Water Week in Stockholm. The workshop looks at addressing conflict risks in climate adaptation and mitigation efforts and is a follow-up the PSI working group on water and security, accompanied by the publication of ‘Water, climate and conflict: security risks on the increase?’ (see link). During this session speakers will address the potential impact of climate change on migration and conflict from an analytical and practical perspective.
On September 14th, the report of the Global High Level Panel on Water and Peace, launched by 15 co-convening countries will be celebrated at the Maison de la Paix in Geneva, followed by an aperitif.
Join the Challenge where Climate Change meets Migration, and win a day-entrance to COP 23 or a seat to participate in the Planetary Security Conference (12&13 December, The Hague)!
