Recognizing the importance of climate to security, the Planetary Security Conference was held on 5-6 December with nearly 300 government officials and non-governmental representatives from 48 countries.

This week the Planetary Security Conference 2016 took place and a sneak peak of the photo's is available.

A new monitor has for the first time modelled the economic impact of climate change together with conflict risk with startling results.

Just before the Conference, the report Towards A Global Resilience Agenda - Action on Climate Fragility Risks has been published. 

The 2016 PS conference will include an exhibition of a small selection of the several maps especially commissioned for the 2015 PS conference and produced by geographer / cartographer Philippe Rekacewicz.
