Professional background
Geoffrey D. Dabelko is Professor, Director of Environmental Studies, and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs at Ohio University. He is also senior advisor to the Environmental Change and Security Program (ECSP) at the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington where he served as ECSP Program director from 1997-2012. Geoff was a Lead Author of Chapter 12 "Human Security" in Working Group II for the 5th Assessment of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. He is co-editor of Environmental Peacemaking and Green Planet Blues: Critical Perspectives on Global Environmental Politics.
