About Magda Nassef
Magda works for UN Environment in Sudan and focuses on promoting equitable and sustainable natural resource use and governance in Darfur. Since 2008, Magda has focused on the links between livelihoods and arid and semi-arid environments, with concentration on eastern Africa. In this vein, she has managed the Wadi El Ku Catchment Management project in North Darfur. Magda holds a Masters Degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Leeds.
