About Madelon Meijer
Madelon Meijer has been working in agricultural development for over 15 years. She gained extensive field experience living and working in Latin America, advising on strengthening producers’ organisations and linking small scale farmers to the market. At the FAO in Italy, she carried out research on the transformation in the food system and how these impact small scale producers. Currently at Oxfam Novib, she advises Oxfam’s GROW campaign, particularly on issues related to agricultural investment, biofuels, and climate change. A main area of work currently focuses on researching the obstacles to Asian and African farmers’ access to climatechange-finance for adaptation.
