Julie Vaillé is a Senior Research Fellow at IDDRI. Her work focuses on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and the reforms required by this agenda in terms of financing for development.
Before joining IDDRI, Julie worked as a policy advisor at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs for French official development assistance (ODA) strategy and the post-2015 international negotiations. She also worked at the European Commission in the Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development (DG DEVCO), where she dealt with EU strategic planning on official development assistance. From 2007 to 2012, Julie worked as a project manager in microfinance non-governmental organisations (NGOs) at ADIE and Planet Finance.
She has a Masters degree in finance and development economics from University Lyon 2.
