Mr. Dennis Tänzler

Dennis Tänzler is Director International Climate Policy at adelphi. His research focuses on climate and energy policies as well as on peace and conflict studies. In 2007 and 2008 he served the Policy Planning Unit of the German Foreign Office as an expert on climate and energy policies. He has provided in-depth analysis on the security implications of climate change and contributed to new methodologies for vulnerability assessments and the development of conflict-sensitive adaptation. In addition, he most recently led a project to develop a dynamic training course on climate finance readiness and coordinated an EU-funded project on Climate Diplomacy Narratives.
