Ajaya Dixit

Ajaya Dixit is Executive Director of Institute of Social and Environmental Transition-Nepal, where he is devoted to building research-knowledge-policy ecosystem in Nepal and in mentoring younger generation of scholars. His current work focuses on developing approaches for building resilience at sub national and local levels. He has worked on ecosystem-based adaptation, climate finances, food security, hydro energy and in building community infrastructure with the objective of integrating climate change adaptation with disaster risk reduction. He has worked as an analyst of water resources and environment themes and written on trans-boundary water cooperation, flood management, environment and development.
