Professional background

Pascal Delisle, Climate and Global Issues Adviser at the European External Action Service (EEAS), holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Economics from Université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne. He also holds a degree in Social Science from the École Normale Supérieure Cachan and Science Po Paris. After having held several faculty positions in France, Colombia and at Georgetown University in the USA, he founded in 2002 the “Alliance” Programme at New York Colombia University, a joint venture between Columbia University, Science Po Paris, École Polytechnique and Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, before becoming in 2004 the director of the Center of the Americas at Sciences Po Paris. He was then Head of the Cultural Services at the French Embassy in Washington D.C. and Director of the Partner University Fund (FACE Foundation, New York) from 2007 to 2011, before being Regional Cooperation Adviser for the Southern Cone and Brazil at the French Embassy in Chile from 2011 to 2015.
