About Alice Hill

Alice Hill is a Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University where she focuses on the destabilizing impacts of climate change. For the past seven years, she served as a senior advisor in President Obama’s Administration. In the White House, she headed a national security team responsible for development of policy for building resilience to the catastrophic risks posed by climate change. She led the creation of Presidential orders requiring increased incorporation of climate risk into national security policies, strategies, and planning. Prior to joining the Administration, Hill served as both a Judge and Federal prosecutor.
