Mr. Ramesh Prasad Bhushal

Ramesh Bhushal is an environment journalist based in Nepal. He was negotiator for Nepal Government at UNFCCC, recently appointed as an expert member of Environment Protection Council headed by Prime minister. He worked as Principal Environment Correspondent for Nepal’s largest selling English daily ‘ The Himalayan Times’ and has contributed to BBC’s Nepali Service on Science and Environment. He sits on the Executive Committee of Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists as General Secretary. He is currently associated with the environmental news site www.thethirdpole.net as Nepal Editor and manages the Earth Journalism Network (www.earthjournalism.net) in Nepal.
