Mr. Joost Knoop

Joost Knoop is a senior policy researcher at the PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency currently working on studies on the adaptation to climate changes in the field of water. Before that he was head of the department of Mathematical Models and Statistics at the Water and Drinking Water Unit of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment. He holds a MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente. Joost has experience in the field of environmental modeling and policy research on a broad range of subjects, among others eutrophication, hazardous substances, climate adaptation and flood risk management.
