Mr. Aliou M. Dia

I am currently working as Africa Regional Team Leader for Climate Change, Disaster Risk Reduction and Energy at the UNDP Regional Service Centre for Africa based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

I have more than 10 years’ experience working on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction issues in Africa providing programmatic and policy support. During my previous assignments as Senior Disaster Risk reduction Advisor in Africa for UNISDR and UNDP, I have acquired relevant experience on providing substantive technical support on Disaster Risk Reduction and climate change adaptation.
