Dr. Prem Bindraban

Dr.Ir.Prem Bindraban MBA develops concepts for the next generation fertilizers based on plant biological knowledge and advanced bio-nano-chemistry that are more effective, improving yield and food quality, while reducing environmental effects. IFDC implements development program in African and Asian countries to build public-private relations for developing food value chains with specific expertise in fertilization and plant nutrition. Prior to that he was director ISRIC-WageningenUR, head Natural Resources PRI-WUR, and researcher at CIMMYT and IRRI. Bindraban was associate director of the study “Strategic Plan for Agricultural Development in Africa” requested by former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
