The “Central Asia Young Water Diplomats programme” implemented by the Clingendael Institute and IHE Delft, 2024-2026, brought together young water diplomats from Central Asia.
With a focus on political cooperation through water diplomacy in Central Asia, the programme provided webinars and training sessions, and an in-person meeting during the “High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action ‘Water for Sustainable Development’, 2018–2028” in Dushanbe in 2026.
As part of the programme the participants wrote policy papers under the guidance of staff from the Clingendael Institute and IHE Delft.
